CRCMeD(Clinical Research Center for Medical Equipment Development )
The center was established within the grounds of the Kyoto University Hospital in April of 2011 by the “Advanced Innovation Base Establishment Program” of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. Our center provides an environment of open innovation where academic and industrial researchers can closely exchange information with each other within our facilities that boast 5 floors and a basement with approximately 4,635m² of floor space, as a base of the industry-academia-government collaboration for cooperatively developing innovative medical equipment and technologies. Here, we are promoting development of the most advanced medical equipment and technologies through various industry-academia collaboration research projects and conducting effective training for the staff that are responsible for dealing with the development of medical equipment.
